Bio
Hi, I’m Edvard – a singer, pianist, and entertainer based in Oslo. I’ve always felt most alive when performing, whether in churches, concert halls, or at private events. Music has been with me all my life, and today I’m fortunate to share it with others — not just as a profession, but as something personal, meaningful, and often magical.
I began piano at six and explored everything from classical to jazz and pop. As a teenager, I joined the Young Talents Program at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and at 18 discovered singing — leading me to a Bachelor’s degree in classical voice. I later performed works like Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio, Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium, and Fauré’s Requiem with renowned ensembles.
In 2023, I moved to New York to pursue a Master’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music, to study with the world class teacher Mark Schnaible. During my time in New York I sang leading opera roles, explored contemporary repertoire, and worked as cantor and organist at Immaculate Conception Church. In 2025, I was honored to perform and give a speech at the official 200-year anniversary of Norwegian emigration to the U.S., in the presence of King Harald of Norway.
Though classically trained, I love working across genres — from Schubert and Grieg to Sinatra, Bublé, and even tailor-made pieces for weddings, funerals, and events. I feel fortunate to do what I love, and that gratitude is what drives me to give everything I have on stage. With each performance, I aim not only to sing well but to connect, to move, and to make the moment unforgettable — always striving to make every performance my best.
